Blits

Catch your day in seconds.

Blits is a camera that records seconds. Every tap is exactly one second, and Blits stitches all those seconds together into one film of your trip, your weekend or your year.

Free. No ads in the app. Works on iPhone and Android.

How it works

  1. Tap. Open Blits and the camera is live. Tap the button: one second. Prefer two or three seconds? Set it per film, right on the home screen.
  2. Film. Every second lands at the end of your film, and it plays instantly, no export needed. In the strip below you drag seconds into order or take one out.
  3. Share. One button makes a portrait 1080p video, ready for Instagram Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts or WhatsApp. Too long for a story? Blits splits it into neat parts.

No editing, no fuss. Just tap now and then.

Film together

Invite friends or family to a film, with a link or a six-character code. Everyone who joins records their own seconds into that same film.

As the maker you decide the order and can hide a second that does not fit. Every member can also make a personal version, just on their own phone. Someone who is no longer welcome can be removed or blocked, and a second can be reported to Blits.

Never lose anything

Every second lives on your phone and in your own Photos or gallery. With Premium a copy is also kept safe in the cloud.

New phone, or reinstalled the app? Sign in and restore them. That always works, even without Premium.

And Blits shows you what you recorded a year, a month or a week ago. The best part of collecting seconds is seeing them again.

Stamps and social cut

Put the date, the time or the place on your seconds, in ten sticker designs: handwriting, typewriter, polaroid, neon, film strip and more, four of them free. Per film, or just on one second.

Want to share a short version? Social cut picks ten, fifteen or thirty seconds from your film and turns those into a portrait video.
